FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in vehicles equipped with turbocharged internal combustion engines (ICE). Contact supercharging air cooler, having a housing with air ducts for supply of hot and cold air flow discharge, inlet and outlet channels for coolant feed and discharge, made in housing to be secured by conical slopes, change in inlet and outlet ducts, axial pipe and two cylinders, forming a common internal cylindrical cavity. Between walls of housing of cooler, outer and inner walls of cylindrical cavity and central pipe circular channels are formed, from which air flow is supplied from below upwards at an angle to make cylinders due to diffuser made on housing inner wall of cooler and external wall of axial pipe. At ends of cylindrical cavity are supply and receiving umbrella in form of circular reservoirs. Feed hood has double-sided annular sprayer with cone-shaped rim to form water film on outer and inner surface of cylinders equipped with fine-meshed net. Receiving hood is made in form of a trap for collection of flowing cooling liquid.
EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of cooler due to increased heat emission.
