FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: device of gas-discharge lamp with dielectric barrier (DBD) has discharge chamber (10) in form of toroid with wall (12) of discharge chamber. Discharge chamber wall includes tubular section (14) of inner wall, tubular section (16) of outer wall and two ring-shaped sections (18, 20) of end walls. Every section of end walls extending between end section of outer wall and end section of inner wall. High-voltage electrode (22) is made on outer surface of section of external wall of discharge chamber. Low-voltage electrode includes electrically conducting fluid and additionally contains electric conductive element (38) surrounded by section (14) of inner wall (12) of discharge chamber and passing, at least partially from first end section (14) of inner wall to other end, wherein said electrically conducting element (38) is electrically connected only at first end, and two flanges (64, 66) on or near two ends of section (14) of the inner wall. At that said flanges comprise electric conductive part, at same time electric conductive element (38) is electrically connected with electrically conducting part of first flange (64) of two flanges without touching conductive part of second flange (66). Design of DBD-lamp can be part of optical treatment of fluids.
EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions and higher reliability.
