FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to UHF heating units to heat dielectric materials. A UHF furnace contains a work chamber with a door, a UHF energy source with an output, and an energy removal device made as a rectangular waveguide. Wherein the output of the UHF energy source is installed in the energy distribution device, and a part of the wide wall of the waveguide is a part of the top wall of the work chamber, in which more than two similar slotted holes are made. The rectangular waveguide is made in the form of connected in series sections of a regular and nonregular rectangular waveguide with a gradually tapering narrow wall. Wherein the output of the UHF energy source is located at the section of the regular waveguide. The slotted holes are made in the wide wall of the section of the nonregular waveguide, located in the same plane with the wide wall of the section of the regular waveguide. The cross-section of the waveguide in the transition point from the regular to nonregular section passes over the edge of the slotted hole.
EFFECT: increased uniform heating of a dielectric material.
