FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing loose dielectric materials with the help of SHF electromagnetic field power. Proposed device comprises SHF-generator connected, via feed waveguide, with main waveguide accommodating heating chamber representing thin-wall tube made from SHF power-transparent material and communicated with loading/unloading assemblies. Main waveguide represents integrated round waveguide with two lengthwise slots arranged along diametre, slot length being equal to round waveguide length, and two equal halves of rectangular waveguide divided longitudinally in E-plane and arranged in parallel to and in symmetry about round waveguide lengthwise axis. Note here that every said half is located opposite appropriate lengthwise slot in round waveguide, while inner crosswise sizes c, inner diametre d and width t of every lengthwise slot are selected subject to preset conditions.
EFFECT: higher regularity of heating/drying and higher efficiency.
