FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: support ring of absorbing device for automatic coupling is made of composite polymer antifriction material based on polyamide containing carbon fibre as fibrous filler or its mixture with glass fibre, as well as randomly arranged carbon nanotubes in form of single-layer or multi-layer with number of layers from 2 to 70 or inserted one into another rolled graphite planes with number of layers from 2 to 70. Outer diameter of carbon nanotubes is selected from 0.1 to 100 nm, and their length from 1 to 70 mcm. Content of glass fibre in its mixture with carbon fibre filler of composite polymer antifriction material is selected from 2.58 to 11.5 wt%. Quantitative content of components, wt%: carbon fibre or a mixture of carbon fibre and glass fibre - 9.7-42.4, carbon nanotubes - 0.05-0.55, polyamide - balance up to 100 %.
EFFECT: reduced time of running-in, higher protection against alternate loads on friction surface of support ring - housing of absorbing apparatus, preventing jamming, protection against longitudinal forces and acceleration of cars at a rate of collision of cars 10-12 km/h.
