FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of underground structures against corrosion and may be used to control operation of devices of cathode protection against corrosion. Substance: searching for the point of damage of the extended anode earthing device (EAED) by induction method is carried out in three stages using different circuits of AC sources connection to EAED and using AC with frequency below 128 Hz, excluding frequencies of 100 and 50 Hz.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of extended anode earthing device damage point, laid at distance of at least 1 m from a pipeline.
