FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to defectoscopy and can be used for equipment diagnostics at different stages of its operation. Method is based on measurement of electric signal response parameters along the whole investigated area and determination of extreme values describing the source of destruction origin. Electric signal response parameters are scanned along the whole of the investigated area of material of equipment in different amounts cycles alternating-sign loads, and then obtaining diagrams of electric signal response parameters distribution along the whole of the investigated area at different values of amounts of loading cycles and detection of extreme values, which will be characterising potentially dangerous zone.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of information content and reliability of detecting destruction origin.
