FIELD: motor car construction.

SUBSTANCE: claimed tire comprises the tread section with the surface of contact with the soil and multiple ledges made on said surface, each shaped to hemisphere extending on outer side in the tire radial direction. Every said ledge features its centre of curvature located on inner side of the tire radial direction on the surface of contact with the soil, its curvature radius varying from 1 mcm to 70 mcm. The height of ten points of irregularity Rz on the tread surface of contact with the soil varies from 1 mcm to 50 mcm owing to the ledges. Claimed die comprises the tire tread contact shaping surface and multiple hemispherical sections of recesses made at said tire tread section of contact with the soil. Every section with recesses has the centre of curvature located at the die outer side, curvature radius varying from 1 mcm to 70 mcm.

EFFECT: better performances on ice and snow.
