FIELD: rocket science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engineering, and more particularly to regulation of solid-fuel gas generating systems for underwater applications. Solid-fuel gas generator for underwater use comprises mounted on a support a cylindrical stick of solid propellant, at upper end of which is there is a localiser of combustion zone in form of an inverted heat-resistant cup with electric heater, and a control means. Localiser of combustion zone is formed as a releasable hinge pair with horizontal hinge axis on lateral surface with possibility of rotation of electric heater relative to heat-resistant glass in which there is a perforated bottom. On opposite side from hinge axis electric heater is attached to bracket on which actuator control means configured in form of an electric motor with a propeller blade.
EFFECT: invention enables to adjust rate of gas production, including interruption of combustion and re-ignition, without limiting length of valve checkers.
