FIELD: pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for in-tube monitoring pipelines and can be used for diagnosis of mean diameter pipelines, as well as construction profile of pipeline. Invention, disclosing caliper, comprises a body, sensitive means for measuring and processing, analysis and storage of data. Housing has a spherical shape, and measurement means are sensitive in a longitude-latitude multimode fibre mesh of optical fibers, means for processing, analysing and storing data are arranged inside housing.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of diagnosing average diameter of pipelines.
