FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: after eliminating spinal dysraphism, above zone of surgical intervention is anchored dura mater (DM) under tension wound absorbable during 60-90 days to located nearby residues arches at height of 4-5 mm above level of spinal cord in 2-3 points on each side. Method includes leaving free flaps of dura mater, which under tension tightly are sutured together.
EFFECT: method eliminates necessity of repeated operations due to growth of a child that is ensured by tension of dura mater at anchoring to vertebrae, leaving free flaps dura mater and their tight suturing to each other, which allows increasing volume of a subdural space.
