FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway manual brakes. Railway hand-brake includes a hollow body, creating a force circuit extending from the housing and connected with car braking system, and chain drum. Also there is a mechanism of tension and release of the chain, containing a drive mechanism, grip and release mechanism and moving retaining latch. Brake comprises also flange located at retainer cam. Flange has a hole passing through its thickness. Target sensor passes through hole in direction opposite that of engaged with ratchet wheel section retaining latch. Hole passes through the thickness of body so that through this hole passes target sensor. Sensor passes through the hole in the partition and is fixed on it nuts. Press tool is fitted between housing inner surface and outer surface of the body holding pawl. Invention also relates to a device for determination of chain tension in railway manual brake.
EFFECT: solution is aimed at determination of chain tension.
