FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method for measuring working life relates to technical diagnostics, in particular, to measurement equipment. Method consists in measurement by measuring device of acting mechanical forces in working volume of cylinder (WVC), caused by movement of air at rotating ICE crankshaft; noise sensor is selected as measuring device, which can convert noise, arising from interaction of parts during rotating crankshaft, into electric energy (WWVC), measured by wattmeter, which corresponds to parts wear value of mechanisms at the time of working life (Wl) measurement; measuring device is placed tightly in any hole for direct access into WVC cavity of four-stroke or two-stroke ICE, and in starting mode for 1-2 seconds Wl is measured in each ICE WVC; measurement result mathematically expressed as algebraic sum WWVC; for two-stroke ICE, vibration noise sensor is selected as measuring device in order to convert vibration energy WV at surface point of cylinder head to electrical energy; measurement result mathematically expressed as algebraic sum WV.
EFFECT: technical result is broader functional capabilities, higher reliability of diagnostics.
