FIELD: technical diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical diagnostics and can be used for determination of technical state of parts of cylinder-and-piston group and gas distributing mechanism of engine without its start-up. Method of diagnosing parts of cylinder-and-piston group and gas distributing mechanism of engine includes checking oil level in engine crankcase. If the oil level is less than or more than the norm, then it is brought to the norm as per the indications of the oil-lubricating line (probe). Fuel supply into cylinders is cut off. In an oscillograph device with an image storage function used for analyzing a sinusoidal signal, on the screen of which a scale of correspondence between the determined oscillographic device image of the curve, which varies depending on the value of current consumed by the starter, and value of pressure in the cylinders of the engine, is set, the required mode and scale of measurements are established. It is connected to accumulator battery of electrical system of diagnosed engine. Stroboscope sensor is connected to the union or HPFP fuel pipeline of the first cylinder. Crankshaft of diagnosed engine is scrolled by starter without its start-up, at the same time the strobe is directed to the beginning of oscillographic device screen on the side, from which appears when the engine crankshaft is scrolled curve in the form of a sinusoid, the maximum of which corresponds to the arrival of the cylinder pistons to the upper dead point on the compression stroke, at the level of its maximum value. Stroboscope will illuminate point on sinusoid. Passing this point, which will be on one of the tops of the sinusoid and correspond to the arrival of the first cylinder piston into the upper dead point on the compression stroke, on the entire screen of the oscillographic device and when the point is moved to the opposite part of the screen, the position of the sinusoid is recorded and memorized using an oscillographic device. Stored position of the sinusoid is brought to the screen. Knowing the sinusoid maximum, which corresponds to the moment of the first cylinder piston arrival to the upper dead point on the compression stroke, the engine cylinders operation order, using the oscilloscope device screen special scale, by the sinusoid maximum values, which will correspond to arrival of pistons of different cylinders to upper dead point on compression stroke, making a conclusion on technical condition of parts of cylinder-piston group and gas-distributing mechanism of separate cylinders of engine.
EFFECT: improving reliability of control of technical state of parts of cylinder-and-piston group and engine gas-distributing mechanism.
