FIELD: instrumentation; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used in making abrasive tool with discrete cutting surface. Tool is made in form of grinding wheel, in body of which on cutting surface provided with holes, axes located in plane parallel to vertical longitudinal plane of symmetry of circle at angle α to radius passing through point of intersection of cutting surface of circle with axis of cut-out hole. There is mathematical relationship for determination of said angle.
EFFECT: result is increased area of bearing section, reducing tension in abrasive material and higher mechanical strength of tool.
