FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purging of condensate from the supercharging air cooler. At deceleration in fuel injection deactivation and at the cylinder valves still active, the transmission is shifted from the 1st high gear to the 2nd lower gear to up the engine rpm and the engine airflow in response to condensate level in supercharging air cooler for purging the accumulated condensate to the engine inlet by the feed of condensate.
EFFECT: decreased number of ignition failures caused by water suction.
