FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engine (ICE) and can be used for application of coating on its working surface. Anode-oxide coating of ICE formed at least on part of wall surface facing combustion chamber, is characterised by that it contains voids and nanovlves, smaller in size than voids, wherein at least part of voids with plugged with plugging material obtained by conversion of sealing material into plugging material, and at least part of nanovalves is not plugged. Method of producing anode-oxide coating of ICE includes formation of anode-oxide coating on at least part of wall surface facing combustion chamber, sealing nanovalves circuit, anode-oxide coating has inside voids and nanovalves which are smaller than voids, applying sealant on voids and plugging at least part of voids with plugging material obtained by conversion of sealing material to form anode-oxide coating, in which at least part of nanovalves are not plugged.
EFFECT: low heat conductivity and heat capacity of coating, high heat-insulating properties and parameters of amplitude of cyclic temperature of working surface of combustion chamber.
