FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying equipment and can be used in food, animal feed, pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries. Method involves sublimation, supply of heat, creation of vacuum and removal of condensate in two-section de-sublimator. Ice thawing at sections of two-sectional de-sublimator is performed by means of condensate and waste steam by their transfer from two independently operating sublimation chambers of sublimation installation, accumulation in reservoir for condensate and waste steam collection and feed via system of discharge into sections of two-sectional de-sublimator. Preventing penetration of melt water inside vacuum lines of two-sectional de-sublimator sections by means of chutes installed in them, which is discharged into sewerage.
EFFECT: invention usage allows to reduce drying cycle, reduce specific energy consumption and increase process efficiency.
