SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automated video surveillance systems. Stereoscopic apparatus for selecting moving objects comprises identical image sensors, analogue-to-digital converters, unit for selecting frame and horizontal pulses (BVKSI) 5, AND element 6, clock pulse generator 7, single-chip microcontroller on ARM architecture (OMK-ARM) with USB controller 8 with buffer memory (BP) and video interface (VI), multiplexer 9. Selection of moving objects is reduced to production of spatial parameters of moving object, dimensions and configuration of which vary during measurement, located on a complex spatial background, which require sequential processing requiring evaluation signal at each step taking into account information during surveillance. After adjusting data is transmitted to a computer via USB controller.

EFFECT: high accuracy and rate of selection of dynamic objects.
