SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of a search query. This method is performed by a server. Said method includes estimating a preferred aggregation parameter for a particular user, depending on at least past user preferences regarding aggregated total and vertical content; ranking the first result of the general search and the first result of the vertical search with respect to each other depending at least on the parameter of the preferred aggregation for a specific user in order to create a ranking order of the search results; and displaying the ranked order of the search results on the search engine results page (SERP) by a user-connected electronic device.
EFFECT: technical result is the personalization of aggregated search results.
