SUBSTANCE: invention relates to providing access to web resource at user's request, specifically to displaying suggestion to user of a document of a plurality of series semantically related documents that meet a user request. Predetermined viewing threshold is determined by a viewing parameter, which is determined by means of collecting statistical information on user, final document viewing of category series semantically related documents, determine one or several time intervals associated with viewing user document purpose for each time interval parameter probability of time interval after user is considered to have viewed document to end, and determining for each time interval related parameter value of viewing taking into account associated parameter of probability.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining end of viewing by a user of documents of said sequence for offering display of first, not viewed to end, document from said sequence.
