SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a networked computer-aided application for receiving, processing, analysing and receiving video media content. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the invention includes a framework and a method for converting video content into a format which enables to display and hence identify separate sections (segments of scenes or other) media content. It includes a device for receiving images and video frames into a database. Consumer products may be compared with images and/or objects on images. Consumer can access content by supplying a digital image captured on a mobile device. One or more objects on the image supplied by the user can be compared with products and/or commercial/advertising materials.
EFFECT: technical result is providing access to content through a visual search platform.
