SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a five-level rectifier, comprising a first, second, third and fourth power semiconductor switches, first and second capacitors of DC bus, phase capacitor, and first, second, third and fourth diode modules. Said first, second, third and fourth diode modules connected in series, said first and second DC bus capacitor connected in series and said second and third power semiconductor switches are connected in series. Said first diode unit connected to said first DC bus capacitor and first power semiconductor switch, and said fourth diode module is connected to said second DC bus capacitor and said fourth power semiconductor switch. Said phase capacitor has one terminal connected to said first and second power semiconductor switch and another terminal connected to said third and fourth power semiconductor switches.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of harmonic and electromagnetic interference.
