FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wear-resistant elements cooperating with the grinding medium, and can be used in various fields of engineering industry, in particular, the invention can be used for the manufacture of working machines for different purposes, interacting with the abrasive medium. Said element comprises a durable wear-resistant monolithic body made of manganese or a mixture of silicon with the flux powder of boron carbide or tungsten carbide, titanium carbide, or subjected to thermal stress. Said body is located in the cavity of a tubular metal shell, the cavity of which has a circular or rectangular or triangular, or elliptical cross section. Said wear member has a diffusion zone obtained through high temperature exposure and located between said body and the shell. Width of said diffusion zone is 10 to 30 % of the thickness of the metal tubular casing; a supporting surface is formed on the outer side of the metallic tubular cladding, providing the possibility of joining of the wear-resistant member by gas or electric welding to a metal surface of the working body.
EFFECT: wear-resistant member is provided having high strength and the possibility of an extended dynamic interaction with the abrasive medium.
