FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground tests of aircraft components. Method comprises loading and measurement of deformations of joints. Loading is applied along axis of symmetry of cowling through a die with elastic gasket, outer surface of which is equidistant to internal surface of ceramic cladding, and height of interaction of die with shell relative to tip is less than half distance between top edge of frame and nose cowling. Shift of shell is measured relative to top edge of frame, at least at three points of circle are equidistant to each other, and shear modulus of adhesive in cowling is calculated by a formula.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of determining modulus of shearing of adhesive directly on full-scale cowling.
