FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground testing of aircraft elements and can be used in control of adhesive joints of shells of rotation. Method comprises force loading along cowling axis of symmetry through male die with resilient liner, outer surface of which is equidistant to inner surface of ceramic shell, and interaction height of puncheon with shell relative to nose is less than half distance between upper edge of frame and nose of fairing, shell shift is measured relative to the frame upper edge at a minimum of three points located between each other at the same distance. Force load on the tested fairing is set to not more than 50 % of design load, parameters of connection unit are determined – rigidity of adhesive joint, stiffness of pin connection for composite frames and natural oscillation frequency of ceramic shell relative to frame by formulas, and quality of connection unit is determined by comparing strength parameters of connection unit with corresponding parameters of standard connection unit of fairing.
EFFECT: expansion of parameters (stiffness coefficients of adhesive joint and pin connection in the frame and own oscillation frequency of the ceramic shell with respect to the frame) for evaluation of the quality of the connection unit and improvement of accuracy of their determination.
