SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telecommunication techniques and can be used in a single frequency network wide and multicasting. For this purpose, the method includes interrupting transmission base station MBMS in a cell and transmitting control plane information MBMS in a cell in which the transfer of the MBMS terminated, and in the control plane information block content SIB2, the contents of the MCCH information and contents DSI remain unchanged, and content block SIB13 changes or stays the same. Apparatus comprises a termination of service transmission, is adapted to stop transmission of the MBMS in the cell, and a transmitting unit configured to transmit control plane information MBMS in a cell in which the terminated transmission of the MBMS, and a transmit control plane information block content SIB2, MCCH information content and DSI contents remain unchanged, and the contents of the block SIB13 changed or remained unchanged.

EFFECT: technical result is to increase the quality of broadcasting.
