SUBSTANCE: invention is a method of fritillary plant propagation by the method in vitro, including sterilisation of explants, dividing them into pieces, planting on Dunstan and Short nutrient medium, separation of microbulbs from explants, their rooting and adaptation, characterized in that after the separation of the explants, they are placed on the Dunstan and Short nutrient medium, containing 6 g/l agar supplemented with - 5 mcM 6-benzylaminopurine and 2 mcM α-naphthylacetic acid, after cultivation on this medium the microbulbs are propagated on hormone-free Dunstan and Short medium for 4 weeks at lighting of 3 klux for 16 h light/8 h darkness at a temperature of 24°C, rooted and adapted in containers with sphagnum moss, in darkness, at a temperature of 7°C, for 2 months.
EFFECT: invention enables to provide a high yield of the planting material of the fritillary genus representatives at minimum cost of growth regulators.
