SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and represents modified Corynebacterium glutamicum, capable of producing L-lysine by recycling Xylose, in which includes Xylose isomerase activity (XylA) and xylulokinase (XylB) having origin from Erwinia carotovora. Present invention also relates to method of producing L-lysine, involving stage of cultivation of said modified microorganism using Xylose as carbon source, and recovery of L-lysine from culture.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain L-lysine with high degree of efficiency.
