SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Disclosed is a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium having an enhanced ability to produce L-lysine as compared to an unmodified microorganism, in which the activity of acetate kinase is enhanced in comparison to its endogenous activity, wherein the acetate kinase has the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 12. Disclosed is a method of producing L-lysine using a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium, having an enhanced ability to produce L-lysine as compared to an unmodified microorganism, in which the activity of acetate kinase is enhanced as compared to its endogenous activity. Disclosed is use of a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium, in which the activity of acetate kinase is enhanced as compared to its endogenous activity, for enhanced production of L-lysine.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to produce L-lysine with high output compared to the original unmodified microorganism.
