FIELD: electronic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for production of improved cathode active material for lithium-ion accumulator batteries. In cathode active material is performed partial or complete replacement of electrochemically inactive conducting carbon additive with electrochemically active simultaneously conducting polymer additive. Proposed composite cathode material consists of a mechanical mixture of lithium ferrophosfate with carbon coating (C-LiFePO4) (88-99.5 wt%), carbon black (no more than 4 wt%), conducting polymer poly-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene doped with polystyrene sulphonic acid (from 0.5 to 4 wt%) and water binding agent (carboxymethyl cellulose) not more than 4 wt%.

EFFECT: said qualitative and quantitative composition of composite cathode material enables 10-15 % higher specific capacity of cathode material for lithium-ion accumulator battery in respect to weight of cathode material, which is technical result of invention.
