FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used for determination of behind-the-casing fluid from formations covered by tubing string. Method involves recording of thermograms before and after short-term local heating of casing string in assumed interval of fluid flow by recording of temperature in well bore with their subsequent analysis. At that, pumping and compression pipe from fibreglass is lowered with outside temperature sensors in selected interval analysis, that is followed by induction heating of casing string through fibreglass tubing for time interval defined by mathematical expression, and temperature is recorded in time in process of local short-term heating column and in well bore in investigated interval during well operation, and inter-string flows interval is determined from increased rate of temperature change.
EFFECT: high reliability of determination of inter-string flows in wells covered by tubing string.
