FIELD: cable technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cable technology, namely, logging cable, and is intended for lowering and lifting of geophysical instruments and apparatus, their electricity supply and communication between ground equipment and devices are used in geophysical investigations of horizontal and ascending sections of oil and gas wells. Geophysical research cable horizontal and ascending sections of wells comprises at least one conductor core and an outer shell, wherein at least one current-carrying conductor is located in weight of polymeric composite material of cylindrical section reinforced with glass or carbon fibers.
EFFECT: technical result of claimed invention is increase of longitudinal elasticity logging cable for investigating horizontal and ascending portions wells providing its self righting during operation, while maintaining its strength and rigidity to push logging tools in horizontal sections of wells.
