SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of computer technology and can be used to resume work for root ports and endpoints that are integrated into the root ports. Apparatus comprises a recovery logic to: determine that the device is in the low power state; initiating a transition of the device from a low power state to an active state, and the determined fixed minimum recovery time for the transition from the low power state to an active state; identifying capabilities of the device, corresponding to a transition of said device from a low power state to an active state, and completion of the transition of the device from a low power state to an active state at least partly based on said capabilities, wherein the transition to be completed before the expiration of the fixed minimum recovery time; wherein said opportunity comprises an opportunity to interrupt and restore the logic further is adapted to receive an interrupt from said apparatus, an interruption is an indication that the device is ready to complete the transition.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce the transition time to a working state.
