SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel complexes of lanthanides with Schiff bases, which exhibit luminescent properties. There are offered complexes of lanthanides with (2-(tosylamino)benzylidene-N-alkyl(aryl)amines of formula Ln_pX_mL_k, where where R = H, alkyl, substituted alkyl, aryl, substituted aryl, amine or substituted amine; X = Cl, NO₃ ^- ; Ln are lanthanides, except promethium and cerium; p = 1 or 2; k is integer from 1 to 3·p; m is integer from 0 to 3·p; (m+k) = 3·p, which exhibit luminescent properties. Complexes of Er, Nd, Yb are luminesce in infrared range of spectrum; complexes of Eu, Tb are luminesce in visible range; complexes of Gd, Lu are luminesce in blue region of visible range; complexes of Gd with R = -NH-C(O)-C₆H₅ exhibit delayed fluorescence.

EFFECT: invention extends range of available complexes of lanthanides, which exhibit luminescent properties.
