FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to determine the concentration of glucose in aqueous solutions using phosphors. Complexes of lanthanide carboxylates with the general formula Ln(L)3(Phen)n(H2O)х, exhibiting luminescent properties, have been proposed, where Ln = Gd, EumTb1-m, at m = 0…1, L- = C6B(OH)2R1R2R3R4COO-, n = 0, x = 1-4 or n = 1, x = 0-4. Each of R1, R2, R3, R4 – H or halogen, or aryl, or fluorophenyl, or B(OH)2, or alkyl, Phen is o-phenanthroline. The following is also proposed: a method of determining the concentration of glucose in an aqueous solution using complexes of lanthanide carboxylates.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to expand the arsenal of luminescent lanthanide complexes and methods of determining glucose concentration.
