FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnostic technique for severe forms of psoriasis in adults. Method consists in determining functional status of cell membranes, which is estimated by maximum speed of Na+-Li+-counter transport in erythrocyte membrane, consisting in measuring of intracellular lithium exchange in loaded cells on extracellular sodium from incubation medium. Sodium-lithium counter transport speed V is defined as difference between lithium concentration in medium, rich in sodium, and in medium, free from sodium, by formula. If sodium-lithium counter transport in erythrocyte membrane is no lower than 420 mcm of lithium/litre of cells/hour it enables diagnosing severe form of psoriasis.
EFFECT: method provides reliable and effective diagnosis of severe forms of psoriasis in adults.
