FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is an oral composition for the treatment of diseases and / or disorders that can be treated with S-adenosyl-L-methionine. Composition contains S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM-e or SAMe) and one or more esters of gallic acid selected from ethylgallate, isoamylgallate, propylgallate and octylgallate, the ratio (weight: weight) of the ester of gallic acid to S-adenosylmethionine ranges from 1:1 to 1:80.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improving delivery of SAMe, in particular an increase in SAMe concentrations in the plasma and the area under the curve of a pharmaceutical (AUC) SAMe.
