SUBSTANCE: first invention represents a method of suppressing or relieving an inflammatory disease in a subject, involving an increase in absorption of 15-hydroxyeicosapentaenoic acid (15-HEPE) in a subject by administering an effective amount of the composition, containing 15-HEPE or its pharmaceutically acceptable complex C1-C5-alkyl ester, to a subject that is in a post-meal state. Second invention is a method of increasing suction 15-hydroxyeicosapentaenoic acid (15-HEPE) in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering the composition, containing 15-HEPE or its pharmaceutically acceptable C1-C5-alkyl ester to a subject which is in a state after eating.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides increased absorption of 15-hydroxyeicosapentaenoic acid in treating inflammatory diseases.
