FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a removable cutting head of a device for supply of segments of a filter equipped with a drum-type conveyor with grooves for transverse movement of filter rods and having circular knives arranged in knife units fitted in the head body; herewith, this head comprises body (8) of the head equipped with support surface (23) for positioning in the device for supply of filter segments, sockets (20, 21) for positioning of knife units (10) and outlet channels (25), knife units (10) with circular knives (6); at that, positioning sockets (20, 21) are arranged so that circular knives (6) do not overlap each other.
EFFECT: technical result consists in acceleration and simplification of replacement of worn-out or damaged knives.
