SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to anti roll back systems for vehicles. Anti roll back system for vehicles with mechanical gearbox includes a first switch, a second switch, a third switch, a fourth switch, a fifth switch, a diverting means and a flow control means. Improvement comprises the system working in conjunction with the vehicle braking system. When vehicle is stationary and inclined, upon release of brakes, the flow control means releases the air from the rear brake actuator at a slow rate which enables to maintain the vehicle stationary even after the brakes are released. Slow release of air provides some time that allows the driver to accelerate the vehicle to roll up the hill in intended direction against the slope of inclined surface.

EFFECT: to simplify the operation of a vehicle when it is started up against slope.
