FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tool for movement of a connector of anode rod with anode frame of electrolytic cell for production of aluminium by electrolysis of a melt having two lateral fingers for interaction with support hooks fixedly connected with said anode frame and arranged on both sides of an anode rod for pressing anode rod with anode frame. Moving tool comprises a guide element with a low-cut, connected to each of fingers and for receiving fingers, gripping member with open and closed positions, said guide element and a gripping member interact with provision of possibility of introducing each finger into cut and removal of cut-out in open position of gripping member and possibility of a limited movement of each finger in said recess between a lower position corresponding to contact with exciting member, and an upper position in closed gripping member position, an autonomous driving system coupled with an exciting member with ability to move between open and closed positions, and blocking system locked and unlocked positions for locking exciting member in its locked position with ability to move from locked position to unlocked position in top position of fingers. Invention discloses anode lifting and transfer unit and use of member and unit for moving in electrolysis shop for production of aluminium by electrolysis of molten metal.

EFFECT: higher reliability of lifting and transfer of anodes of aluminium electrolytic cell.
