FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mechanism for handling of anode connectors of electrolytic cells for aluminium production. An arm for anode connector contains two side journals and one clamping screw and it interacts with hooks of electrolytic cells for joining anodes to the electrolytic cell, besides, the arm contains a clamping unit interacting with the clamping screw, a system of blocking, interacting with the clamping unit, and the connector for blocking the latter in normal position in the arm at releasing of the connector clamp, and also additionally it contains at least one movable component having open and closed positions and containing a support, bearing on itself the connector in the closed position, usually by means of side journals, and a device to provide traveling of the movable component or each of the movable components from closed into open position. There is suggested also the anode connector and lifting-transport assembly, containing the arm and the anode connector.
EFFECT: avoiding of unforeseen drops of connector when it is being handled.
