FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of esters based on polyisobutene succinic acid and an alcohol selected from a group consisting of polyalkylene glycols with 2-4 carbon atoms in alkylene and polyalkylene glycol monoalkyl ethers with 2-4 carbon atoms in alkylene and 1-22 carbon atoms in alkyl radical, as gelling agent to produce hydrogels. Present invention relates to a hedrogel for cleaning and care, to a method of producing hydrogel and use of hydrogel in used in household facilities for cleaning and care, in cosmetics or for medical devices.

EFFECT: obtaining a hydrogel, having stability in a wide temperature range, without tendency to breakdown under mechanical loading, and obtained hydrogels are biocompatible.
