FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of articles from composite materials, namely shells of variable cross section for load-carrying structures with inner radial cavities. Method includes circular winding of preliminary impregnated with binder of coal band onto mandrel with radial projections, by which on wound part before each projection of mandrel fixed wound coal tape ends of row from longitudinal workpieces of impregnated fabric. Blanks are bent alternately, their cantilever parts are laid on mandrel ledges and wound with coal belt. From rubber belt, fastening of its ends to each other, belt is made, which internal diameter corresponds to outer diameter of coiled part of shell before mandrel ledges. Belt is put on wound part of shell before ends of billets securing section. During work pieces securing their cantilever parts are successively placed inside belt, after securing on shell and embracing last billet by belt, cantilever parts of billets are alternately withdrawn from belt for bending, placing on mandrel ledges and fixation by coal belt. Belt is removed from shell after removal from belt and securing on shell of cantilever parts of all billets.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of quality of shells with inner radial cavities due to simplification of operation and increasing accuracy of quality at their attachment to shell during manufacturing.
