FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and method of molecular iodine isotopes concentration determining. During method implementation mixture of gases is pumped through testing and two reference cells, fluorescent radiation is excited therein by readjustable solid-state lasers with wavelengths corresponding to lines with maximum absorption of gaseous iodine and nitrogen dioxide isotopes. Based on derived values relative content of nitrogen dioxide in tested cell is calculated. Concentration of isotopes 129I2, 127I2, I31I2, l27I129I, 129I131I, 127I131I in analysed mixture is determined by formulas taking into account for amount of nitrogen dioxide.

EFFECT: enabling real-time measurement of concentration of iodine-129, iodine-127 and iodine-131 isotopes at level of maximum allowable concentrations in natural atmosphere.
