FIELD: nuclear reactors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a laser system for detecting emergency operation of a nuclear reactor. Monitoring of the atmosphere of the technical room 1 is carried out by analyzing the characteristics of the gas composition in the volume of the measuring unit-container 2 by illuminating this volume with laser radiation generated by the first laser generator 3. The laser radiation interacts with the gaseous substance inside the volume of the measuring unit-container 2. The results of this interaction are recorded by subsequent measuring units of the laser system, with which the measuring unit-container 2 is connected through the first to third 13-15 fiber-optic lines. Inside the measuring unit-container 2 there are adapters 7, 12 and 8, and the first and second adapters 7, 8 of the optical fiber are optically connected respectively to the first and second mirrors 5, 6 of the open optical resonator, and the third adapter 12 of the optical fiber is optically connected to the first lens 11. Then, the secondary optical radiation generated by the interaction of laser radiation from the first laser generator 3 with an internal gas medium in the volume of the measuring unit-container 2 is fed through three fiber-optic lines 13-15 to the subsequent measuring equipment of the laser system.
EFFECT: increasing the sensitivity and accuracy of measuring the concentration of molecular iodine and other uranium fission products in the atmosphere of the technical premises of the NPP with an increase in the reliability (confidence level) of the obtained measurement results.
