FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: in disclosed method for fastening underwater pipeline in design position, metal mesh is employed as system for securing pipeline. Beforehand, at one end of mesh gabion structure is formed, which is placed then upon secured pipeline so that gabion structure axis is perpendicular to pipeline axis. Mesh web is placed upon pipeline along its axis, and support surfaces of mesh are formed by placing part of mesh upon ground at each side of pipeline. At that, width of each support surface of mesh more than 2D is provided, where D is outer diameter of fastened pipeline, but not less than 2.5 m. After that, both bearing surfaces of mesh are dumped with crushed stone. Required volume of crushed stone is determined by calculation.
EFFECT: simplified fastening technique for underwater pipelines, high operational reliability, and efficiency of fixing pipelines.
