FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Device providing bulletproof properties of motor vehicle comprises bulletproof window glass, including bulletproof protection unit. Bulletproof protection unit comprises window glass, ceramic or plastic layers glued to each other in form of a multilayer composite structure, intermediate layers of plastic, and one bulletproof band. Bulletproof band has a rectangular cross section and covers bulletproof protection unit along its peripheral edge. One of elements is glued to bulletproof protection unit on side of impact and protrudes outside beyond its limits on outer periphery, and contains bulletproof armoured protection device. Armour protection device is located on inner side of vehicle so that it adjoins the bulletproof window glass and is applied on bulletproof window glass.
EFFECT: higher bullet resistance of window glass.
