FIELD: electronics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic textile and to a method of making said textile. Method of manufacturing electronic textile (1) comprising steps of: providing textile carrier (2) comprising a plurality of conductor lines (6a-b); releasably attaching (101) textile carrier (2) to a rigid support plate (20). Providing (102) a conductive substance on textile carrier (2) in a pattern forming a plurality of sets of connection pads (5a-5b), defining a placement position electronic component (3). Each connection pad has a connection pad length (Lcp) in a direction parallel to conductor line and a connection pad width (Wcp) in a direction perpendicular to conductor line, wherein connection pad width (Wcp) is at least one percent of an extension (Wtc) of textile carrier (2) in direction perpendicular to conductor line. Automatically placing (103) electronic components (3) at component placement positions; curing (104) conductive substance to attach electronic components (3) to textile carrier (2), thereby forming electronic textile (1) and removing (105) electronic textile from rigid support plate.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility to produce using equipment for automatic arrangement of components with high output of finished products.
